Thousands of Filipino travellers now have a simpler way to enter the UAE. Starting June 25, eligible Philippine passport holders can obtain a UAE visa on arrival instead of applying for a visa before travelling. UAE visa-on-arrival for Filipinos

New Zealand

Travellers must present these documents upon arrival in the UAE along with their Philippine passport. Immigration authorities will then assess eligibility and issue the visa on arrival subject to standard entry requirements.

UAE visa rules explained

Eligible travellers will have two visa options when arriving in the UAE. The first is a 14-day visa-on-arrival costing Dh100. This visa can be extended once for an additional 14 days by paying a Dh250 extension fee. The second option is a 60-day visa-on-arrival costing Dh250. However, this longer visa cannot be extended under the current rules.
