Young mother dies after sticking her head out of a moving car in Japan
In Japan, a young mother from Gifu Prefecture could not be saved after sticking her head out of a moving car and causing her own death. Mothership reports this.
The tragic incident occurred on May 28 in Kasamatsu town, Gifu Prefecture. 21-year-old Kokoro Matsui was found in a car in a parking lot with severe injuries. She was taken to the hospital. Doctors fought for nine hours to save the Japanese woman's life, but were unable to do so.
CCTV footage showed that Matsui, while in the front passenger seat of the car, stuck her head out of the window while the vehicle was moving. At that moment, the car was approaching a small tunnel under the railway tracks. The woman hit the tunnel wall with her head and upper body.
The driver of the car was 21-year-old, and Matsui's young son was in the back seat. The young man was detained. Police believe he was driving drunk. The boy was not injured. Investigators stated that the driver was a friend of Matsui.
