India Set to Launch First Bullet Train Service by August 2027
India's first bullet train service is slated to begin by August 2027 on the Surat–Bilimora section of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad project. The initiative marks a significant engineering leap as trains will be manufactured indigenously, with initial speeds of 280 kmph and future plans for 350 kmph.
