AA driving schools fined £4.2m for illegal drip pricing affecting 80,000 customers

The Competition and Markets Authority has fined the AA £4.2m and ordered refunds for over 80,000 customers of BSM and AA Driving Schools after finding illegal drip pricing. A mandatory £3 booking fee was not included in upfront lesson prices as required by law. The total cost exceeds £4.9m including customer refunds.
