Nicaragua's Ortega backs Cuba's Raúl Castro after US indictment

Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega and co-president Rosario Murillo expressed full support for Raúl Castro following his indictment by the US for the 1996 downing of two "Brothers to the Rescue" planes. The Nicaraguan leaders denounced Washington's actions as a "disregard for UN principles" and reaffirmed the alliance with Cuba.
