A 77-year-old retired lorry driver has admitted assault by beating after threatening and slapping a female traffic warden in Welshpool, Powys. Stephen Doughty became aggressive when a pay-and-display machine rejected his coins, threatening Wendy Williams with violence and calling her job a 'scum job'.
