Man Convicted for Using Fake Tinder Profile to Send Dozens of Men to Ex-Partner's Home
Asad Hussain, 36, has been convicted at Chester Crown Court of stalking involving serious alarm or distress, assault by beating, and failing to comply with a section 49 RIPA notice. Hussain created a fake Tinder profile using his ex-partner's photos and personal details, sharing her address with at least 18 men who turned up at her home during 2024 believing they had been invited after matching with her online. Some men were told she wanted a "rape fantasy" and that if she said "no", it meant she "wanted it more". In one incident, a man forced the front door while the woman's child was inside. Sentencing is expected later.
