Vadilal Industries has challenged a single-judge ruling that granted interim protection to its Mumbai branch, restraining the company and its Ahmedabad branch from interfering with the Mumbai branch's use of the 'Vadilal' brand for ice creams and juices. The dispute, rooted in a 1993 family settlement, will be heard by a division bench on October 6.
