British athlete Calli Hauger-Thackery says running the Boston Marathon 22 weeks into her pregnancy was the toughest achievement in her career.

British elite runner Calli Hauger-Thackery finished sixth in the Boston Marathon at 22 weeks pregnant, completing the race in 2 hours and 43 minutes—over 20 minutes slower than her personal best. The 33-year-old from Sheffield, who won bronze in the half-marathon at the 2024 European Championships, overcame a trapped nerve at miles five and 11 to cross the finish line, describing it as 'incredible' and 'more meaningful' than her previous achievements.

Calli Hauger-Thackery of Great Britain finished the Boston Marathon in two hours, 43 minutes and 58 seconds while five months pregnant. The European bronze medallist previously won the Honolulu Marathon when four weeks pregnant and took the Houston Marathon title one month later.
