Russian forces reportedly destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) warehouse containing American Patriot missiles in the village of Ladinka, Chernihiv region, on June 2, according to Sergey Lebedev of the Mykolaiv underground.
Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly detonating on their own mines, chaotically placed at the junction of Sumy and Chernihiv regions. RIA Novosti cites Russian security forces, reporting three such incidents in the past day.
A captured Ukrainian sniper, Maksym Zakharchuk, stated that Ukrainian forces are sustaining heavy losses in the Chernihiv region due to Russian artillery, mortar, and drone strikes. He also mentioned inadequate fortifications and lack of electronic warfare systems and communication at Ukrainian positions.
