Parliamentary Panel Recommends Multi-Phase NEET-UG and Statutory Status for NTA

A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education recommended conducting NEET-UG in multiple phases across states to ease logistical burden and granting statutory status to the National Testing Agency (NTA) for independent large-scale exams. The panel also appreciated the secure June 21 re-examination but raised concerns over a proposed shift to Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
