AI voice infrastructure startup Vapi has raised $50 million in Series B funding at a $500 million valuation. The company, which powers Amazon Ring's inbound customer support, plans to use the capital to scale its engineering and go-to-market operations.
Airbnb also said its customer support AI bot now handles 40% of issues without escalating to a human agent.
Amazon has filed a lawsuit in Washington state District Court accusing RBK group of stealing $4 million in products through refund fraud. The group, led by Kazakhstan-based Dias Temirbekul Zhumaniyaz, allegedly used Telegram to recruit customers, charging 15-30% to file false empty package claims with fake police reports. Amazon spent $75,000+ investigating after an investigator posing as a buyer obtained a fraudulent refund.
