Turkey to Impose New Sanctions on Issuers of Fake Energy Performance Certificates
Turkey's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is preparing new sanctions for individuals and firms issuing fake energy performance certificates for buildings. These certificates are crucial for obtaining housing loans, and the new regulations aim to prevent fraudulent advantages in credit processes. Authorized entities found to be issuing non-compliant certificates will have their authorizations revoked without prior notice and will be barred from applying for new certificates for five years.
