España completa la transición a fibra óptica con el fin de los circuitos de cobre mayoristas

España marca este jueves 30 de abril el fin de los servicios tradicionales de telecomunicaciones basados en cobre con la desregulación del servicio ORLA-T de Telefónica, aprobado por la CNMC. La medida supone el cese de la provisión de circuitos mayoristas sobre la red de cobre, culminando uno de los procesos de cierre de centrales de cobre más avanzados de la Unión Europea. Solo permanecerá bajo supervisión administrativa el ORLA-E, orientado al alquiler de circuitos Ethernet.
