Rose Metcalf, a dancer on the Costa Concordia, recounted on Good Morning Britain how she helped save 400 lives during the 2012 shipwreck near Giglio Island, Italy. Despite being new to the ship and facing panic, Metcalf, then 23, organized a human chain and used a rewired light to signal rescuers, preventing further fatalities among the 3,229 passengers and 1,023 crew.
