
South Korean Labor Unions Condemn Proposed 52-Hour Workweek Relaxation
South Korea's two major labor unions, FKTU and KCTU, jointly condemned the government's alleged plan to relax the 52-hour workweek rule for a new Gwangju semiconductor cluster. They demanded a meeting with President Lee Jae Myung, warning of confrontation if the special law is unilaterally pushed.
