Fire Breaks Out at RAF Fairford US Air Force Base in UK

A fire broke out at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, a UK military base used by the United States Air Force for operations against Iran. Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service responded to the blaze in a commercial building in the Fairford area on Sunday morning. Residents were advised to keep doors and windows closed due to smoke. The base, located near the Wiltshire border, can host B-1, B-2 and B-52 bombers. The UK government announced on 1 March that it had agreed to allow British military bases to be used for defensive strikes on Iranian missile sites.
