Runet Economy Estimated at 38.4 Trillion Rubles in 2025, Up 28.1%

The Russian internet segment (Runet) economy reached 38.4 trillion rubles ($510 billion) in 2025, a 28.1% increase from 2024. E-commerce remained the largest segment at 23.2 trillion rubles ($308 billion), growing 40%, while the ICT sector expanded 12% to 13.6 trillion rubles. Experts identified social commerce as the key growth driver, with potential 500 billion ruble upside from legalizing pirated media consumption.
