Synagogue and Homes Evacuated After Fire in Stamford Hill, North London

Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines are tackling a large fire at a property in Stamford Hill, north London, which has led to the evacuation of several homes and a synagogue. The London Fire Brigade received around 40 calls reporting the fire just after 16:00 BST. Police said they are keeping an open mind as to the cause and acknowledged community concern given the proximity to the synagogue.
