Stephen Fry Sues CogX Festival Organisers Over 2023 Stage Fall Injuries

Stephen Fry is suing CogX Festival Ltd and Blonstein Events after falling off the stage at the CogX festival at the O2 Arena on 14 September 2023. The actor and presenter broke his hip and sustained multiple breaks in his right leg, pelvis and ribs. He is claiming damages up to £100,000 for personal injuries and consequential losses, alleging the defendants failed to ensure the stage and backstage area were safe, adequately lit and properly protected to prevent a fall from height.
