선관위는 선거사무원의 실수로 인해 벌어진 것으로 보고 중복으로 교부된 투표용지 1장을 회수했다.
이날 오전 8시 25분께 제천시 교동 제2투표소에서는 70대 B씨가 선거사무원과 실랑이를 벌이다 경찰이 출동하는 소동이 빚어졌다.
B씨는 치매를 앓는 80대 남편의 투표를 도와야 한다며 함께 기표소에 들어가려다 선거사무원에게 제지당하자 실랑이를 벌인 것으로 알려졌다.
오후 2시 39분께에도 충주시 대소원면 투표소에서 C씨가 지적장애 아들과 함께 기표소에 들어가려다 말다툼이 붙어 경찰이 출동했다.
이날 오후 6시 기준 도내에서 지방선거와 관련해 접수된 112 신고는 모두 10건이다.
