(서울=연합뉴스) 신선미 기자 = 보령[003850]은 항암제 '탁소텔'(성분명 도세탁셀)의 글로벌시장 판매를 시작했다고 2일 밝혔다.
이에 따라 이달부터 탁소텔 매출은 보령의 실적에 직접 반영된다.
탁소텔은 지난 1995년 유럽에서 허가받은 오리지널 항암제다. 유방암과 비소세포폐암, 전립선암, 위암, 두경부암 등 7개 암종에 걸쳐 활용된다.
보령은 탁소텔 판매를 위해 지난해 사노피와 글로벌 비즈니스 인수 계약을 맺었다.
계약에 따라 보령은 우리나라뿐 아니라 중국과 독일, 스페인 등 19개 국가·지역에서 탁소텔의 판권과 유통권, 허가권, 생산권, 상표권 등 글로벌 비즈니스 전반을 확보했다.
국내 제약사가 글로벌 제약사의 오리지널 항암제 사업 전체를 인수해 글로벌 판매에 나선 것은 이번이 처음이라고 보령은 설명했다.
계약 규모는 최대 1억7천만유로(약 2천796억원)다.
김성진 보령 최고전략책임자(CSO)는 "보령은 글로벌 필수 항암제 공급망 안에 이름을 올렸다"며 "탁소텔을 발판으로 글로벌 공급자로서 입지를 넓혀 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
