Commonwealth Games 2026: India's Schedule for Saturday, August 1, Featuring Multiple Medal Events

The Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow enter their penultimate day on Saturday, with India set for another busy schedule across multiple sports. The country will have medal opportunities in athletics, boxing, judo and para athletics, while cyclists and bowlers will also be in action. India's top pole vaulters Dev Meena and Kuldeep Kumar will compete in the men's final, while Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran will take part in the men's triple jump final. After winning silver in the men's 10,000m earlier in the Games, Gulveer Singh will return to the track for the 5,000m final.

India will also have several gold medal bouts in boxing, including Preeti Pawar, Jaismine Lamboria, Jadumani Singh, Arundhati Choudhary and Ankush Panghal.Here's India's schedule for Saturday, August 1:

The knockout rounds, including semifinals and final, will take place later in the day if they qualify.
