Notorious Sydney gang rapist Mohammed Skaf has been charged with a string of offences over his alleged involvement in large scale drug supply.

NSW Police arrested the 42-year-old in Greenacre in Sydney's south-west overnight and he has been charged with 24 offences.

"During a search of the man and nearby park, officers allegedly located and seized $25,000 cash and approximately 140 grams of cocaine," NSW Police said in a statement.

"A short time later, a search warrant was executed at a home in Greenacre, where officers allegedly located and seized approximately $220,000 cash, approximately 68 grams of cocaine, approximately 10 grams of MDMA, a vehicle and several mobile phones."

He was charged with more than 20 drug offences as well as those relating to proceeds of crime and directing activities of a criminal group.

A second search warrant was executed at a Bankstown unit a short time later, where a 51-year-old man was also arrested and a ballistic vest, a baton and steroids were allegedly found by officers.

He was later charged with drug offences and participating in a criminal group.

A 54-year-old woman was arrested in Newington, where ketamine and MDMA were allegedly seized and she was charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug.

All three were all refused bail ahead of a court hearing today.

Police said their investigations would continue.

Skaf was 17 when he helped his brother Bilal Skaf gang rape at least six schoolgirls in public parks and toilets around Sydney's south-west in 2000.

By the time of his release, he had never expressed remorse or apologised for his crimes.

After his release in 2021, Skaf was electronically monitored 24 hours a day and was banned from certain parts of Western Sydney until his sentence expired on January 1, 2024.
