Lau, whom the prosecution described as a healthy woman, had visited Revival Medical & Aesthetics Centre in Bras Basah in March 2019 for aesthetic treatment. In his account to the Ministry of Health (MOH) after the incident, Chan said Lau wanted to improve the fine lines on her forehead.
