EU to 'play its part' to restore energy and trade flows from Middle East

EU High Representative Kaja Kallas and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have floated strengthening Operation Aspides to restore energy and trade flows from the Middle East.

Both officials indicated the EU would 'play its part' in the efforts to reopen key trade and energy routes through the region.
