FIFA has unveiled its opening ceremony performer lineup for the World Cup 2026, expanding the tournament’s entertainment slate just as it released its official 18-track global album under FIFA Sound.
The opening lineup forms part of FIFA’s broader strategy to turn the World Cup into a combined sporting and live entertainment experience across host nations.
Performers linked to the ceremonies and build-up events include Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema, Tyla, Michael Bublé, Alessia Cara, and Alejandro Fernández, among others.
The performances are expected to feature in opening ceremonies across the three host countries before their respective first matches.

Six tracks had already been released earlier, including “Goals” by LISA, Anitta and Rema and “Game Time” by Future and Tyla, setting the tone for a globally styled soundtrack.
The full album is now available for pre-save ahead of the June 11 kickoff.

FIFA president Gianni Fantino described the project as one designed to “unite fans worldwide through the power of music and football.”
Most of the collaborations are new pairings, bringing together artists who had never worked together before. The idea, according to FIFA Sound, is to merge different musical cultures into one shared World Cup experience.
The album is not being treated as just background music. It is positioned as part of the tournament build-up across host nations.
