인천=연합뉴스) 최은지 기자 = 인천항만공사는 다음 달 15∼16일 인천 송도컨벤시아에서 열리는 제7회 인천국제해양포럼에서 '피지컬 인공지능(Physical AI)' 전시를 선보인다고 11일 밝혔다.
피지컬 AI는 휴머노이드 로봇을 비롯해 일정한 형태를 가진 물리적 기기에 탑재되는 인공지능을 의미하며, AI가 현실 환경을 인식하고 판단하며 물리적으로 행동하는 것이 핵심 기술이다.
이번 전시에서는 항만·물류 산업의 패러다임을 바꿀 첨단 산업용 로봇들을 여럿 선보인다.
현장에서는 항만 배후단지와 물류 창고에서도 자유롭게 이동하며 감시·정찰·운송을 하는 4족·2족 보행 로봇과 화물을 분류하고 쌓는 팔렛타이징 로봇이 시연을 한다.
또 정량의 디저트를 제조하는 아이스크림 로봇과 바리스타 로봇. AI 시각 센서로 즉석에서 그림을 그리는 캐리커처 드로잉 로봇도 체험할 수 있다.
이경규 인천항만공사 사장은 "제7회 인천국제해양포럼에서는 AI 기술이 산업 현장을 어떻게 바꾸고 있는지를 직관적으로 경험할 수 있을 것"이라며 "미래 해양산업을 선도할 피지컬 AI 전시에 많은 관심을 부탁드린다"고 말했다.
