One Indian worker has lost his life and three others have been injured in a drone attack in Moscow region earlier today. Embassy officials have visited the location and met the injured workers in the hospital. The Embassy condoles the loss of life and is working with the company management and local authorities to provide necessary assistance to the workers, it said in a post on X. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv’s strike on Russia was “entirely justified”, coming just days after a large-scale Russian drone and missile attack on the Ukrainian capital left at least 24 people dead. "Our responses to Russia's prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war," he said. Russian authorities said nearly 600 Ukrainian drones targeted the country overnight, leaving four people dead, in what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described as “entirely justified” retaliation for Russia’s continued attacks on Ukraine. Russia’s defence ministry said air defence systems destroyed 556 drones overnight, while another 30 were intercepted after daybreak, making it one of the largest Ukrainian drone offensives of the war so far. The ministry said the interceptions occurred across 14 Russian regions, as well as over Crimea, annexed by Russia from Ukraine, and the Black and Azov seas.

China Using Fake Job Offers to Recruit Spies, Five Eyes Warns

The Five Eyes intelligence alliance warned that China is using fake job recruitment schemes on platforms like LinkedIn to trick government and military personnel into revealing sensitive information. Operatives pose as recruiters, offering jobs to gather privileged military, political, and economic data, with targets including security clearance holders and academics. China has rejected the allegations as 'malicious slander'.
