但若回到完整五分鐘的語境，川普真正談論的核心，其實是：
2020年美國總統大選改變了全球地緣政治局勢。
他的意思是，如果當年美國人民選出的是更具威懾力的總統（意指他自己），那麼普丁未必敢入侵烏克蘭，中國對台灣的壓力也可能不同。
換句話說，「You」原本指的是美國選民，而非台灣人民。

翻譯，也因此不再只是語言轉換，而是一種權力工具。
當我們在社群平台看到那些「震撼發言」或「國際領袖怒轟某國」的訊息時，也許最該先問的，不是「真的假的」。而是：「完整脈絡到底是什麼？」
