또 숙소 제공이 어렵거나 단기 인력이 필요한 농가를 위해 하루 단위로 인력을 지원하는 '공공형 계절근로 사업'도 운영한다.
인력이 필요한 농가는 작업 3∼5일 전 샘골농협 공공형 외국인 계절근로 인력운영센터를 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 이용료는 1인당 하루 11만원이다.
강용원 시 농업기술센터소장은 "지속적인 점검을 통해 계절근로자의 인권을 보호하고 농가의 책임 있는 고용 관행을 정착시키겠다"고 말했다.
