60' The Hammer pulls off another try-saving tackle

The Warriors have come so close to scoring.

On the final play of the set the Warriors went down the right and a kick infield by Adam Pompey was caught by Taine Tuaupiki.

Tuaupiki got over the goal-line, but Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow held him up.

57' Warriors winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak off the field

Warriors winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak appears to be limping and he has come off the field.

57' NO TRY: Dolphins denied by knock on

M By Michael Doyle

Herbie Farnworth has run through a massive hole in the middle of the field and scored under the posts.

Farnworth picked up a loose ball that appeared to have been knocked on.

Red Adam Gee goes to the Bunker, believing there was a knock on in the lead-up, and the Bunker agrees.

Dolphins get a bigger home crowd than the Broncos

M By Michael Doyle

Last night's match between the Brisbane Broncos at Sydney Roosters at Lang Park had a little less than 40,000 in attendance.

This afternoon's match between the Dolphins and Warriors has drawn a little more than 40,000.

To be exact, it is 40,465 fans.

Last night was a little wet, and this afternoon is perfect.

Many in the crowd today are actually cheering for the Warriors, rather than the Dolphins.

But I have no doubt those in the Dolphins' front office will be thrilled at this crowd figure.

50' TRY: Jamayne Isaako scores for the Dolphins

M By Michael Doyle

The Dolphins have scored.

Right centre Herbie Farnworth makes a line break, puts in a grubber kick, the ball bounces high, ricochets off the head of Warriors fullback Taine Tuaupiki, and right winger Jamayne Isaako scores.

Dolphins five-eighth Kodi Nikorima is sucking in big breaths in backfield after being crunched in a hard hit.

The Dolphins made a line break from their own half to put the Warriors under pressure.

A knocked-down pass from Warriors winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak gave the Dolphins a full set at the goal-line.

The Dolphins were then boosted with a six-again, but a forward pass by Max Plath ended the attacking raid.

Update on Isaiya Katoa wrist injury

M By Michael Doyle

The biggest talking point of the first half was the injury to Dolphins halfback Isaiya Katoa.

His arm is in a sling.

Fox Sports is reporting that Katoa suffered a dislocation of the left wrist.

Fox reports that Dolphins' medical staff were able to put the wrist back into place and that scans will be needed to assess the severity of the injury.

HT: Dolphins 16 lead Warriors 12

M By Michael Doyle

This match is living up to the hype.

The Dolphins take a 16-12 lead at halftime over the Warriors after a sensational 40 minutes of rugby league.

The Dolphins scored three tries to the Warriors two, with the big play coming in the final two minutes of the half. A one-on-one strip from little Kodi Nikorima led to the Dolphins scoring the go-ahead try, thanks to a terrific finish from Jamayne Isaako.

The big news is Dolphins' halfback Isaiya Katoa who has his left arm in a sling.

39' TRY: Jamayne Isaako scores for the Dolphins

M By Michael Doyle

What a massive 60 seconds for the Dolphins.

Kodi Nikorima strips the ball for the Dolphins, and that has led to the home side taking the lead at halftime.

The Dolphins shift to the right and winger Jamayne Isaako runs for the corner.

Isaako dives for the corner, turns his body midair, and grounds the footy with one hand. BRILLIANT.

And Isaako converts from the right touchline.

The Dolphins are going to have a great attacking chance.

The Warriors had a seven-tackle set with a 20-metre restart.

Warriors centre Adam Pompey took the first run, but he was stripped of the ball by Kodi Nikorima.

34' Selwyn Cobbo returns to the field for the Dolphins

M By Michael Doyle

This is a big boost for the Dolphins.

Selwyn Cobbo has passed his Head Injury Assessment, and he is back on the field at left wing.

26' TRY: Herbie Farnworth scores for the Dolphins

M By Michael Doyle

Dolphins left centre Herbie Farnworth has scored.

After a six-again restart allowed the Dolphins to attack the Warriors' goal line, the home side sliced through to score.

Five-eighth Kodi Nikorima catches the ball from dummy-half, and gives a lovely short ball to Farnworth, who goes through a big gap to score.

20' Selwyn Cobbo off for HIA

Selwyn Cobbo is now off the field for the Dolphins.

He dove to try to stop the previous Warriors' try, and he has been called for a Head Injury Assessment.

18' TRY: Dallin Watene-Zelezniak scores for the Warriors

M By Michael Doyle

The Warriors have extended their lead.

An attacking kick from five-eighth Chanel Harris-Tavita to the right is again caught by Jacob Laban.

Laban taps the ball back to halfback Te Maire Martin.

Martin then passes a bullet pass to right winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, and there are no Dolphins in defence. The Dolphins' left-edge had crashed in to be part of the contest.

DWZ scores in the corner. Great finish.
