운전면허가 없던 A씨는 지난해 5월 9일 청주의 한 도로에서 혈중알코올농도 0.126% 상태로 SUV를 몰다가 앞서가던 차량을 들이받아 상대 운전자에게 전치 2주의 부상을 입힌 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.
A씨는 이후 사고 수습을 위해 현장에 도착한 경찰로부터 신분증 제시를 요구받자 친동생의 주민등록번호를 불러준 것으로 조사됐다.
그는 이전에도 음주운전으로 3차례 처벌받은 전력이 있다.
박 부장판사는 "음주운전으로 처벌받은 전력이 있음에도 또다시 같은 범죄를 저질러 죄질이 좋지 않다"고 판시했다.
