配合淡江大橋通車，新北市交通局新闢「988板橋快線」、「989機場快線」、「990機場快線」及「115淡水八里觀光公車」等4條公車路線，今天起正式營運，每天提供逾80班次跨橋觀光或往返機場、板橋，可搭配TPASS基北北桃1200都會通定期票、敬老愛心卡使用，新北市長侯友宜說，4線公車服務，讓民眾、國際觀光客都便利。
侯友宜今出席「淡江大橋新闢公車路線啟航典禮」表示，淡江大橋已成全國矚目的新地標，週休假日皆吸引上萬名遊客欣賞橋體景觀與夕照，4條新公車路線經試營運測試已規劃完整，今正式啟航，代表淡北地區公共運輸正式邁入「跨橋、跨區、快捷」的新時代。
交通局長鍾鳴時指出，民眾可透過「跳蛙公車」APP線上預約或站牌候車方式，搭乘淡江大橋新闢快線公車，「988板橋快線」平日於淡水新市鎮及板橋公車站雙向各提供20班次；「989機場快線」及「990機場快線」每日分別自淡水新市鎮、捷運淡水站往返桃園機場，各方向皆提供10班次服務。
「3線觀巴天天發，新北任你搭。」侯友宜說，「115淡水八里觀光公車」是繼鶯歌731、瑞芳177之後，新北市第3條觀光公車路線，即日起，國內、外遊客可購買49元無限搭乘一日卷，3線各自「吃到飽」，享受更便利、更經濟的新北一日遊。
交通局說明，「115淡水八里觀光公車」串聯淡水老街、漁人碼頭、八里左岸及十三行博物館等熱門景點，除假日提供固定班表、定點發車服務外，週一至週五也可搭乘「115平日線」跨橋往返淡水、八里，串聯淡江大橋兩岸生活圈。
