President Lee Jae Myung will be briefed by all government ministries and institutions this month and examine their progress in implementing their policy tasks, the presidential office said Wednesday.

Lee is scheduled to receive briefings from 140 ministries, state commissions and government bodies from July 15-21, with the sessions to be livestreamed online, according to the presidential office.

The sessions will mark the second round of such briefings for Lee since he took office in June 2025.

The upcoming sessions will focus on reviewing progress in implementing the policy tasks and goals presented to the president in the previous briefing sessions late last year, according to Cheong Wa Dae.

They will also provide Lee an opportunity to review the implementation of his administration's policy priorities, including efforts to promote regional development, it added.

In a Facebook message earlier in the day, Lee described them as an opportunity to review policy outcomes and discuss future directions with the public.

Cheong Wa Dae said each briefing session will be attended by a group of up to 200 public observers, who will also be allowed to ask questions about policy implementation alongside the president.

"Based on past achievements and tasks, (I) will firmly set up the course for South Korea's future," Lee said in his post.
