The economies of Russia and India are complementary, while the strategic interests of Moscow and New Delhi coincide, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov said via video link at a press conference. As the diplomat noted, both India and Russia possess the potential of self-sufficient powers. "Our economies are complementary, and our long-term strategic interests coincide. As for balancing relations with our key partners in Asia, we have always sought this and are actively advancing a specially privileged strategic partnership with India," the diplomat said.
