MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Russia intends to not merely boost supplies of energy resources but also to expand exports of its technologies and production solutions to BRICS countries, Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov said at the BRICS energy ministers meeting in the video address format.
"Long-term priorities of Russian fuel and energy sector are set in the 2050 Energy Strategy and Russia is going to not merely scale up resource supplies but also to expand exports of own technologies and production solutions," Tsivilyov said, cited by the Energy Ministry on Max.
Russia views the BRICS energy platform as a priority mechanism of cooperation and supports toe hydrogen value chain research initiated by India, the minister noted.
"It is extremely important in conditions of geopolitical instability to consolidate efforts for ensuring common access to inexpensive, reliable and sustainable energy sources," Tsivilyov stressed.
