Two separate violent incidents occurred in Sydney, involving brawls and stabbings. Police are investigating both events and seeking public assistance.
Police are investigating the stabbing of two men following a melee involving 70 people in Sydney's south-west.
Emergency services were called to a home on Zephyr Street, Austral about 12:50am this morning following reports two men had suffered stab wounds.
When they arrived, officers were met with a large brawl, but no-one with injuries was located.
A short time later, police were called to Browns Road in Austral and found a 19-year-old man sitting in a vehicle with stab wounds to his torso.
Police said another man, aged 17, was found in a second vehicle on Fletcher Street in Middleton Grange with stab wounds to his thigh.
Detective Inspector Scott Houldin said police believed a party was being held at the premises before it was interrupted by gatecrashers.
"They were met by a group of males at the front of the house, two of which were the victims who sustained the [stab wounds]," he said.
Inspector Houldin said three knives were found outside the home and they were being forensically examined.
"No arrests have been made … I appeal for the community's assistance… anyone with dashcam, CCTV and mobile phone footage to identify those who attended the party last night and caused the brawl and the subsequent stabbings."
Paramedics treated the men and they were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Multiple crime scenes have been established, police said.
Teen glassed in separate house brawl
In an unrelated incident in Sydney's north-west, a large brawl broke out at a Gladesville home, leaving two teenage boys with injuries.
Police were called to an home on Ashburn Place in Gladesville just after 10pm last night following reports two people had been assaulted.
Officers were told a large number of teenagers were gathered at the home when a fight erupted between two boys, aged 16 and 17, and five other people not known to them.
The 17-year-old boy was struck with a glass bottle and the 16-year-old boy was assaulted by a group, who then fled the scene.
The teens were treated by paramedics for head and facial injuries before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
