A woman has been jailed for murdering her film director sister Jennifer Abbott Dauward in her home in north London. Nancy Pexton, 70, stabbed Abbott - also known as Sarah Steinberg - at her flat in Mornington Place, Camden, on 10 June last year. The 70-year-old has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 22 years. Abbott, 69, was found dead on the floor of her living room with gaffer tape covering her mouth on 13 June after a neighbour broke down the door. Pexton was arrested five days later, and Abbott's diamond-encrusted gold Rolex watch was found in her bag. Pexton went on to claim she got blood all over her clothes when she hugged Abbott while she was having a nosebleed. However, messages from months before revealed Pexton's jealousy and animosity towards her more successful sibling.
