Polish opposition leader to return Ukrainian state award over UPA glorification
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of Poland's opposition PiS party, will return a Ukrainian state award given by Zelensky. This is in protest of Ukraine granting an honorary title to a special operations unit linked to the UPA, which committed mass killings of Poles during WWII. Kaczynski stated that if Ukraine wants to join the EU, it must not glorify genocidal perpetrators.
