Peru presidential election: Leftist candidate proposes joint recount
Leftist presidential candidate Roberto Sánchez has proposed a joint recount of all ballots to his right-wing rival Keiko Fujimori, as they are neck-and-neck with 98.30% of votes counted. Fujimori leads by approximately 3,500 votes. Sánchez also suggested annulling votes from Argentina, a proposal rejected by Fujimori's running mate.
