Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) has generated over 70 lakh jobs. He also disbursed Rs 2,400 crore in incentives to 15 lakh first-time employees and their employers, aiming to empower youth and strengthen the workforce.
PM Narendra Modi thanked NDA leaders for their wishes, pledging renewed vigour for national service and building a 'Viksit Bharat'. He highlighted the alliance's 12-year stable government, commitment to national interests, and its role in strengthening democracy and accelerating development.
Union Minister JP Nadda at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference urged India to convert global uncertainties into opportunities to achieve Viksit Bharat by 2047. He called for higher manufacturing capacity, resilience and self-reliance, highlighting the shift in government-industry relations since the 2003 Vibrant Gujarat initiative. Nadda also underscored south Gujarat's strategic importance as an economic hub with Surat's diamond and textile industries and industrial zones in Bharuch, Dahej and Ankleshwar.
PM Narendra Modi stated that women's welfare is a top priority for his government, calling 'nari shakti' the strongest pillar of Viksit Bharat. He highlighted initiatives for women's safety, economic empowerment, and political participation.
