MIT scientists develop non-invasive cardiac pacing device

MIT researchers have developed a non-invasive device that uses ultrasound waves to regulate heart rhythm. Tested successfully on animals with heart rhythm disorders, the technology aims to replace traditional pacemakers and could be used for long-term monitoring and stimulation of other organs.
