
Chicago Man Links Cyclosporiasis to Taco Bell Chalupa Amid Outbreak
A Chicago man, Alonso Zaragoza, was hospitalized with cyclosporiasis, believing a Taco Bell chalupa caused his "explosive diarrhea." The Cyclospora outbreak, linked to shredded iceberg lettuce from a Mexican supplier, has affected nearly 1,700 people across 34 states. Taco Bell has removed the affected lettuce nationwide.
