Google is integrating conversational AI features called Live into Gmail, Docs, and Keep. These features allow users to ask natural language questions, dictate ideas for document organization, and create structured reminders, with rollout planned for AI Pro/Ultra subscribers and Workspace business customers this summer.
Google announced Thursday that Gemini AI will roll out to cars with Google built-in, starting in the U.S. with English support. The upgrade from Google Assistant enables drivers to have natural conversations for tasks like finding restaurants, controlling vehicle functions, and retrieving information. GM previously revealed Gemini is coming to approximately 4 million vehicles from model year 2022 and newer across Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC brands. Unlike GM's announcement, Google's statement did not name specific automakers, suggesting broader industry adoption. Gemini will also be available for compatible existing cars via software updates.
