
Cyclospora Parasite Spreading Rapidly, Michigan Hardest Hit
A diarrhea-causing parasite, Cyclospora, is spreading across the US, with Michigan reporting over 700 cases. The infection, cyclosporiasis, can cause severe gastrointestinal issues and fatigue for over a month. No single source has been confirmed, but past outbreaks were linked to contaminated produce. At least 20 hospitalizations have occurred.
