
Conjoined Twins Separated in Complex Saudi Arabia Procedure
Two-year-old conjoined twins from the Philippines, Olivia and Gianna, were successfully separated in a six-part operation at King Abdullah Specialist Children’s Hospital in Saudi Arabia. The rare thoraco-omphalopagus conjoining involved shared liver and heart membranes. The twins are in stable condition post-surgery, with the Saudi government covering all costs.
