A delegation of nearly 40 Chinese and international journalists, including those from the US, UK, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and South Korea, are in Inner Mongolia from June 10-13 to report on the region's green development. The group visited Hohhot, Baotou, and Ordos to explore initiatives in green computing, dairy industry, rare earth and silicon industries, and energy innovation.

Lao President Thongloun visited Anji County, Zhejiang Province, to learn about its green development model. He toured Yuxi Village, the birthplace of the "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" concept, and explored bamboo-based products, drawing inspiration for Laos' development.

Suzhou is advancing its 'Beautiful Suzhou' initiative, integrating urban and rural green development. The city has boosted renewable energy capacity to 9.05 million kW (24.5% of total), established numerous green factories and zero-carbon facilities, and invested heavily in water and soil pollution control, aiming for a sustainable and beautiful environment for its citizens.
Shanxi Province plans to build an ecological barrier in the Yellow River basin and North China over the next five years, focusing on carbon reduction, pollution control, greening, and growth. The plan emphasizes energy transition, industrial greening, and promoting eco-tourism.
