
Hong Kong Dancer Paralyzed by Falling LED Screen Testifies in Court
Mo Li Kai-yin, a 31-year-old Hong Kong dancer, testified for the first time in court on April 13, 2026, after being paralyzed from the neck down when a 500kg LED panel fell from the Hong Kong Coliseum ceiling during a Mirror concert on July 28, 2022. The District Court found his employer Studiodanz liable for compensation under the Employees' Compensation Ordinance. The dancer received treatment in Beijing and Thailand following the accident.
