Iran Says Conflict With US and Israel Not Over, Maintains Defensive Posture
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that Iran believes the conflict with the United States and Israel is not over and will maintain a defensive posture until the war ends on all fronts. He emphasized that Iran cannot risk its national security and aims to defeat the aggressor. According to Iran, 3,375 Iranians were killed by American-Israeli strikes during the 40-day war that began on February 28. Iran rejected the unilateral ceasefire extension announced by Trump on April 21.
